News from svn
Continue works in the svn trunk of nmapsi4 leading to the release of next stable version 0.2.
There are still many things to implement, but it seems proper to make a summary
From end (the implementation of these components is already functioning in trunk):
- to test and improve the handling multi-thread (perfectly functional, but plenty to be tested);
- improve the monitor process;
- test and support even bookmarks and QComboBox cache;
- test and improve the vulnerabilities plugin, to help vulnerable services discovered by the scan.
Be implemented:
- methods of hostname control, thanks to a lookup function that will allow nmapsi4 to know all the ip addresses associated with a dns;
- support to scan a group of ip (eg 192.168.1.1/10), thanks to multi-thread will be managed directly by nmapsi4;
- update to support nmap extensions;
- implementing a plugin for DIG to catch more info on dns (only in linux version);
PS: the test version 0.1.96 is present as a package in debian experimental repository (thanks to Giuseppe Iuculano for availability) for those who want to try and help. For those who want to build from sources instead, there are instructions on the googlecode wiki page.
